Below are some of questions we get asked most often. If you don't see the answer to your particular question, please feel free to contact us.

  • Do you allow smoking on the property? In the rooms?

    We are completely smoke-free as of 2017. There are designated places outside the building where smokers are asked to smoke.

  • Do you have a pool? What are the hours?

    We have a 24hr indoor pool open year around. We also have an outdoor pool and the hours depend on the weather.

  • Do you have on-site parking? Is it included with my room?

    Yes we do have 3 parking lots. We allow 1 parking spot per room. We do not have parking for trailers. There is plenty of free street parking for any extra cars or trailers. We also have separate motorcycle parking.

  • Do you guarantee a specific location for your rooms? Connecting

    We do not book by location of the rooms. We only guarantee specific type of room. If you book oceanfront, then you will have an oceanfront room. We have a number of rooms for each type so they are all over the hotel. We do have connecting rooms and if you reserve them you will be side by side with a door between the two rooms.

  • Do you have packages or group rates?

    We give group rates for any group of 10 rooms or more, please call 410-289-1470 with questions or to book your group with us at the Flagship Oceanfront in Ocean City, Maryland.

  • Do you have continental breakfast?

    At this time, we do not offer breakfast, but Happy Jacks Restaurant, located directly across the street is a great in-season breakfast option! The Rip tide pool bar and Grill also serves lunch in-season starting at 11am daily (weather permitting).

  • Is the apartment oceanfront?

    No, the apartment is located in the front north side of the building. It does not have an ocean view or a balcony.

  • Do you have an elevator?

    Yes.

  • Are we allowed to grill in the courtyard?

    Yes, we do allow guests to grill in the courtyard. We do not allow grilling on the balconies or in the rooms.

  • Do you have roll-a-ways beds?

    No , I'm sorry but we don't have any folding beds for our rooms at the hotel. However, we do now offer rooms with a pull out couch with either 2 double beds or a king size bed that will sleep up to 6 (2 double beds/pull out couch only). We do offer cribs, pack-n-plays and high chairs free of charge.

  • What is you cancellation/early check in policy.

    We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. We charge 1 night plus taxes for any early departures or cancellations within 72 hours.

  • Do you have high speed internet or wi-fi?

    Yes, we offer complimentary wi-fi througout the hotel.

  • Do I need a credit card to make a reservation? Will it be charged if I do not cancel it?

    This depends on when you make you reservation. If you are booking at least 10 days or more in advance, we do allow personal checks/money orders to be used to pay the deposit. If you are booking inside of 10 days, we usually require a credit card for the deposit because we need the first night plus tax to hold the room before you check in. If you need assistance with this or have questions, just call and ask for the Front Desk Manager/General Manager and they will be happy to assist you.

  • What if I left something at the hotel?

    If we find it, then it can be shipped to you. Shipping charges will be at guests expense.

  • Do you have bike rentals?

    No, but there is a bike rental shop on 27th st.

  • What forms of payments are accepted to pay for my room at checkin?

    We accept cash, credit/debit cards, money orders or traveler's/bank checks. We do not allow personal checks as a payment at the time of check in.

  • Do you allow pets?

    We're sorry, pets are not allowed at this time

  • Do you rent to seniors/high school graduates?

    We will rent to anyone over the age of 18. However, everyone that stays must be 18 and each person MUST have a drivers license/state issued photo identification with their picture and date of birth. We will not allow anyone to check in without the proper identification. For further clarification, please call the hotel directly at 410-289-3384. Also please note no alcohol will be permitted in a room with anyone under the age of 21, even if there is a 21 year old registered in the room. This will result in immediate eviction.

  • What do we do if there are 4 of us, and only 3 of us will be 18 at check in?

  • Do you have a minimum night stay requirement? I want to come for a week, do I have to check in on Saturday?

    In season, we have a 1 or 3 night minimum on most Friday's, and a 2 night minimum every Saturday. You can start your vacation any day, if you want to come for 5 nights or more, you will save more money (you get a discount for 5 night or more stays) and you may start your stay any day you choose.

  • If something happens and we have to leave, do we lose all the money we paid for the room?

    Our policy has always been 72 hours prior to arrival to cancel or make any changes. So, by that rule anything that happens once you check in will result in a 1 night penalty (i.e. If you leave at 5pm on Monday you will lose Monday and Tuesday's rate Monday because it's 5pm, and checkout is 11am and Tuesday because that's the 1 night you get penalized). If you are able to check out before 11am, you will only lose that day (i.e. If you are scheduled to leave Wednesday and checkout Monday morning at 8am, you will get Tuesday night's money back).   • Do you have anything for younger people to do at your hotel?

    We have a large outdoor pool with a 10 foot deep end, an outdoor lunch area, and an indoor pool open 24 hours. We also have a small game room and free tanning bed for those cloudy days. We are right on the boardwalk and there are four restaurants within walking distance along with Jonah and the Whale which is in the hotel. Please keep in mind the Flagship Oceanfront is a family oriented hotel, and we would ask all guests respect one another especially after 9pm. If there are 4 people registered to the room, anyone else present will need to leave if the room is deemed too loud by management.

Pool Information

The indoor pool will be open the day the hotel opens for the season, with the following restrictions-You must wear a mask covering your nose and mouth while in the indoor pool area, unless you are in the water. You must stay 6' from anyone not in your party. We may limit the amount of persons using this area to allow the 6' distance rule to be enforced. The hot tub is still closed from last season due to the CDC and Health Department regulations. It will be ready if we are allowed to open it for the 2021 season. The outdoor pool with open when the weather permits, and stay open for a long as the weather allows.
